That was a poorly done ending. Bowen flew towards the ropes at an unnatural angle. And then the little Gunn was flopping around on him in the roll up as though he wasn’t “knocked out” and was instead fighting back.

They are. An FM you know it’s bad when there isn’t really any heat or boos from the audience. It’s more just silent disappointment. I like AEW well enough but Khan has squashed or otherwise ruined several acts that were super over.

this title change keeps the Gunns/Acclaimed story going until FTR returns
AEW may not want Acclaimed as the champs when FTR comes back and wants the AEW Tag Titles
that way AEW knows who the crowd will want to win
Acclaimed/FTR would've been split crowd at best and I'm sure AEW wants FTR to be the sure thing fan favorite for that moment should it come
ETA: plus here... it's building yet another tag team in The Gunns as a team that can no longer be discounted as just a jobber team
