And? This has little to do with alpha males in the animal kingdom. It's a male-male relationship that is typically based on competitive exclusion via violence or the threat of violence. The winner gets the territory and the access to females. The females are not the ones doing the selecting in this setting and it has nothing to do with sexual attraction (E.g. the female bird selecting the most colorful or largest male for mating).
