I don't know what it's like during the day, but the boot is a freshman college bar. Go there if you want to hang out with a bunch of 18 year olds and high schoolers sneaking into a bar.
Finn McCools is pretty much the soccer bar to go to from what I understand. It should be packed. Mid city yacht club is a good suggestion too. It has really good food for a bar.
