Literally just about every person I come across who is single is dating online.
I do not partake in such tomfoolery

What do you think it says about a person if they have spent years on dating apps and have seen everything?

How's this different from a person doing the nightlife scene off/on for a few years while single? Do you consider that to be pathetic as well?
Doing the nightlife scene to me is not the same thing at all.
When I was single a few years ago and was 'doing the nightlife scene', I didnt go out looking for a girlfriend. I went out to drink beer, watch the game, hangout with friends and if I met a girl, hooray for me. On a dating website like match, the whole point is to match up with someone to date and become a boyfriend/girlfriend.
To me personally, if we went out and you told me you were doing match.com for years and have seen it all, it would immediately send up a red flag. If you are halfway decent looking, you should have no problem meeting guys without the app. I understand if you move to a new and big city, its a great thing to use, but here in BR you should have no problem meeting guys being somewhat attractive. If anything, you would probably have to fend them off because there will be so many.
You using dating apps for years sounds like youve ran through a bunch of guys(or theyve run through you).

If she has not been able to land a commitment from a high quality guy by now at 29, there is def something wrong

Has your buddy goldennugget visited this thread yet to give his wisdom?

Nothing "wrong." I lived out of state in a big city for a while, online dated there and met a bunch of cool guys. Didn't want to settle down there, moved back, met someone and it didn't work out. It's that simple. I will say that there seems to be an extreme level of judgment here. At least I didn't reproduce and get divorced or fat.. seems that most women here at 29 have one/all of those characteristics. Single guys here should be high-fiving me

They will right as they pass you by to talk to the 23 year old behind you

Don't you know that in the South, especially Louisiana, something is clearly fricked up with you if you have never been married by the age of 29?
You are more "normal" to them if you are on your second marriage with 2 kids by 2 different dads than if you are single, never married, with no kids at 29.

That's what's hilarious about it. Poor life choices = normal. No baggage = something wrong. Perfect logic.

I'm 35 sand my bumble match age range is set from 20-29 I think
(Or was, I have my FB currently deactivated for career reasons)

So you have had at least one serious relationship? then? Ok. You made it sound like you were just simply a perpetual dater throughout your entire 20s
If noone during that entire period committed to you, that's a red flag.

No one is suggesting marriage or divorce. But without any serious relationship ever for your entire prime year's?
No thanks

That's the way of thinking there though. You can't change that. If you plan on staying in BR you need to accept that from a male standpoint....your expiration date for your "prime" years is very near.
