it’s still decorated and staged just like the movie?

It is, but the house eventually became a duplex with an apartment on each floor and the main stairwell removed. The current owners refurbished it back to its original design and used the secondary stairwell from the upstairs apartment to access the little condo they made for overnight guests, which takes up the back of the second floor and the attic. It’s not exactly like the movie because in the movie only half the house was used, some scenes in the house were soundstage. So the living room, foyer, and stairs are the same, everything else is a little different.

Hah, I've always felt the same. I honestly get a little bummed out seeing it go off air for the last time each year. I only watch it once on Christmas Eve, but didn't last night because my brother and our two uncles spent all day and night yesterday getting my youngest brother out of jail, lol. I'll watch it tonight.

Sat through six hours of that shite movie with my stepmom today. Still don’t get the literary purpose of this 94 minute film. I thought maybe Phillip Roth wrote the narrative for this crap.

And that's a wrap. We'll do it again next year.

On most of day. I typically end up watching a lot of the same scenes over and over. I probably don’t even watch the entire movie once across the day, but it’s on most of the day.

Yep, this, LOL. It's a classic and I look forward to it each year!! If only we still had the same simple issues and problems that they faced then.
