So we have tested 20% of the population of Louisiana.

Thats a lot. 8 % of those tested have been positive.

No herd immunity coming here any time soon.

Is there a reason that Baton Rouge was chosen by the federal government for testing over hotspots in the state like Lake Charles or Acadiana?

We aren’t seeing exponential growth or anything close to it.

So this theory that herd immunity is so far off doesn’t make much sense.

If it’s exponential it’s at an R(t) of like, 1.05. It’s definitely not in the 2+ range where it’s doubling every few days.
