Stuff like that pisses me off as well. People see try-hard idiots like that and get the impression they represent us all. But really all you saw was a bunch of cops who like to dress up and play biker on weekends.

This is funny on so many levels.

Mad at dumbass cops for dressing up like dumbass bikers and playing dress up on the weekends like dumbass bikers do.

I want to be me so I wouldn't know.

What's it like going your whole life thinking the fat sow you call mom is some great cook because you think the hot pockets she brings down to you in the basement are the best food in the world?

I'm in no way affiliated with the Roughnecks MC. I do love me some Lynyrd Skynyrd though.

Why does it matter how many different patches are on the back of the vest? Like who cares if it's a 3 patch or 2 patch or a patch of two dudes banging each other? What's the difference?

That's a bit complicated. Historically "outlaw" clubs were the only ones with a three piece patch. But there are exceptions to that rule because not all "outlaw" clubs have a three piece patch. Clubs like the Vagos (two piece) and Sons of Silence (two piece) are prime examples. My old club (Prometheus MC) is a three piece patch "outlaw" club. However, it is not a 1%er club.

Now, (especially since the popularity of the TV show "sons of Anarchy") there are numerous "pop-up" clubs that have adopted three piece patches, unaware that these are usually only used by "outlaw" clubs. Even a lot of "LEMC" (law enforcement Motorcycle Clubs, better known as "cop clubs") have started wearing a three piece patch.

some people make it out to be something important. But really, it's not.

What's the difference between an "outlaw" club and a "1%er" club?

Well, it's a bit of nuance. An "outlaw" club does not mean criminal. What it means is a club that exists outside and rejects the control of the AMA (American Motorcycle Association).

A 1%er club is basically the same thing though they tend to be more on the wild side. They basically reject the laws of everyone other than the laws they place upon themselves. A lot of 1%ers are criminals. But even more of them are not.

I didn't think you were. Just thought he looked like somebody I might have seen at a Skynyrd concert at the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion back in the day.
