This is the shittiest waiting room ever. Feel like I'm at a free clinic.

Once you're done and he's fine, you're going to give zero fricks how shitty the waiting room is.

Seriously, good luck, man. I'm on the edge of my seat waiting for updates today.

Our children seem to adapt to adversity and stress much better than we do.

My thoughts are with you, your wife, your baby, and his medical team.

He will do great. Try to relax and know that everything will be fine. I understand how you are feeling. My little girl is 2. At a year old, she had major eye surgery on both eyes. I broke down when the wheeled her off to surgery, but she was great. They even called me from the operating room to tell me she didn't even cry when they put the gas mask over her face.

Hang in there.

About half an hour ago, the doctor told us surgery was over, everything went well, but he needs some blood right now, and they will probably be giving him more later today. We should be able to see him within the next half hour from now, hopefully.

Dude. Good luck. Glad to hear everything is going well. I know it is a very draining and stressful situation. Praying for a full recovery.

Awesome.

Keep us up to date and let us know when y'all are back at home. I live near you and can have my wife make y'all dinner one night and bring it over. It will probably taste like shite but you won't have to worry about cooking one night.

Drugged up.

In the recovery room now. Watching nurses wrap shite around his head, loud alarms going off, various tubes and sensors connected. He's in a morphine sleep at the moment.

I'd say the little man looks great for what he just went through. I know you are happy to see him on the other side of the surgery.

God Bless your family.. I know the feeling, my son had open heart as a baby and he was on respirator with shite hanging out of him all over the place. You're going to be amazed how quickly babies rebound/recover.
