Frank Gifford did mainly analyst work from 1965-1971 when he moved to PBP on Monday Night Football.
Summerall did color from 1962-1974 before shifting to PBP.
This is exactly the point. Zach might be great one day, but for him to start as PBP is insanely unheard of.
