A saints win and a Rams loss. We don’t make the playoffs and we lose another draft pick slot.

Oh I agree. I wanted us to yank after the 5 game losing streak. Just lose the rest and focus on next year with a top 10 pick. But Payton always finds a way to get to .500 and get a draft pick just short of the guy we need.

It’s the frickkng dirty birds ….i don’t care if it’s a loss of spot or three in draft- being swept by the dirty birds is awful- full stop

Like I said. There were 3 outcomes.
Saints win Rams win = Saints playoff.
Rams win Saints lose = no playoffs but we earn a higher draft pick.
Saints win. Rams loss = Saints don’t make playoff and we probably lost out on 3 or 4 spots in the draft at least.
Never works out on our favor when we need help.

At least we have a really high floor the past 17 years with Payton. 7-9 is the worst we’ve done.
