As it should be. You hear the Peyton Manning quotes ripping the Owners in Indy. Thats how they roll.

I don't want Vick for 3 reasons:
1. Even before the dogfighting, there was no one I hated more than Ron Mexico in the NFL
2. The dogfighting, thuggery, family history, etc.
3. He can't do shite in our offense? Play RB, no thanks-he fumbles as much as Aaron Brooks and Tony Banks's lovechild, Play QB...and take Drew out the game for any snaps. No sir. Play WR, I'll take Moore, Colston, Arrington, Henderson, .......etc. over him. KR/PR...maybe to keep PT and Reggie fresh for offense.

Oh, Vick's a RB? I didn't know that. And to think that all these years I thought he was a QB.

he has more rushing yards than Bush, Thomas and Mike Bell combined

We had 1 100yd runner last year in a game.

Bush cant stay healthy. Thomas has shown flashes, but hasnt proved he can carry the full load. Mike Bell, whatever.

Payton is known for his "creativeness"....well it all comes via the pass. No creativity with the run. Which has shown up in the stat column, as well as the Wins and losses column.

wildcat would be unstoppable with him back there. Even in short yardage, where we lost a few games last year, we could get yardage. Imagine Bush coming down the line of scrimmage with Vick at QB...wouldnt be easy to stop.

dude. get over you vick man crush. it's been 2 fricking years since he's seen the field. i guarantee you he's lost a step, still sucks at QB, and he is DEFINITELY NOT the fastest player in the league anymore and will never be. not worth the trouble or headache. douche.

Yeah, I feel I'm about to get owned by tubasco...or whatever...

On a lighter note, I will be copying and pasting every post I write in one of the Vick threads to paste in the others.

ETA: edited to make my post make sense.

after spending that much time in prison, I don't think Vick will ever run like he used to. He's going to have more of a wobble if you catch my drift.

and he would still be perfectly suited to run from a wildcat position with the occasional pass to keep the defense honest.

because i "guarantee" you, that A)he is still fast and b) can still throw a football.

running from the wildcat doesnt mandate that you have to be the fastest in the league. It's all about deception. And it has worked at every level.

I have a standing response that I copy and paste when people start hammering on Fred Thomas.

On the bright side, we'd have the most Pro Bowl experience of any other team in the NFL.
