Why fire DA now? Do we want to salvage a mediocre season?

DA has to go, but what's the rush? Why try to eke out 7-8 wins with an interim coach, what does that get us? If we want a fresh start, it's going to take this season and next to even start getting our cap under control. If you're ready to tank, Dennis Allen is head coach to do it.

Yeah I think you just let him hang out until a couple weeks before the season is done. We’re already going to be a harder sell than some teams for candidates but may as well get a jump on them.

With our roster and cap issues, Shedeur would be walking into a Bryce Young situation. Deion would probably tell him to sit out the season and reenter the draft next year.

We just need talent. It’s not about solving anything at this point.
If we’re drafting very early we will draft very early in other rounds as well. We will be able to grab multiple interior lineman early.
I’m not a big fan of SS arm strength so I wouldn’t necessarily want him but if there is qb prospect you really like I would t mind taking him as months as we aren’t throwing him to the wolves.
Carr is here regardless because of his deal and money pushed forward. Let him earn it while the young guys learns.
