re: Why do the idiots keep saying the coaches and front office admitted it?

How about you provide a link quoting anyone saying they had a bounty program. Not the bullshite media spins you have been linking. Something from SP or Vitt saying they had bounties.
No one in the Saints have used those words in their admittance. There was no need to because the NFL has not used the word in their allegations. ANd guess what, if they did, then CSP and Loomis admitted to it. As stated and shown by credible quotes from an official statement released by CSP and Loomis, they (SP, ML) admitted to the allegations of the NFL. These are not spins, these are direct quotes from their released statement.

After a lengthy investigation conducted by the NFL's security department, the league announced Friday that 22 to 27 defensive players on the New Orleans Saints maintained a "pay for performance" program that included "bounty" payments administered by then-defensive coordinator Gregg Williams during the 2009, 2010 and 2011 seasons.
You dumb
You keep using the same talking point about the coaches admittance. Pay for performance is still a violation of NFL policy. No one is disputing that. The coaches have not admitted to bounties or trying to injure players.
You have anything new?

if that is what the NFL accused them of, then yes they admitted it. Have you seen the statement from CSP and ML? It says so right there.
quote:
"We acknowledge that the violations disclosed by the NFL during their investigation of our club happened under our watch"
It cannot be clearer. You are so much denial.

what part of the statement do you dispute? The statement is as clear as day.
Why would they make such a statement if it were not true? If they only admit to pay for performance and not pay to injure, why would they make the above statement without clarification?

The Saints wouldn't write something without being very particular with the wording. They know it can be referenced later and they don't want to paint themselves into a corner.
If you notice it says "the violations" and not "all the violations." In other words that part of the statement is basically saying "We know what happened (pay for performance is against the rules) and it happened under our watch."
The NFL has only shown one piece of "evidence" that really comes close to showing that there was money put on players to take them out. That was the ledger for the Minny game, which they oddly only showed the typed out version and not the note itself to compare against.
This same piece of "evidence" had Vitt contributing to a "QB out" pool, and yet the NFL say they aren't holding having his name on there against them because they can't corroborate it. This same piece of "evidence" (with it's unknown author) has been used to suspend Vilma for an entire year. That doesn't seem fishy to you at all?
Of course I'm sure you don't care.
ETA: Also, does Vitt recent statements mean nothing to you? I would like to know if you think he's a liar.

You are right. I don't care. Nothing will change. I don't think the NFL is conspiring to get the Saints. The penalties have been doled out and those are staying in place. Time to move on for a Super Bowl run.

The punishments won't, but the truth can come to light. I think that's pretty fricking important.

LSforYou really IS that out of touch.
Even though there has been a tidal wave of flawed evidence and mischaracterization of player/coach quotes he still continues to bang his blow up Roger doll.

You better take this up with CSP and ML who have officially stated:

regarding your link, I can point you to a similar interview link stating how evil the Saints are. Not that I believe it, but it's there nevertheless.

LSForYou's mind only operates in "black and white" situations. There is no gray area or common sense used. Unfortunately they have a lot of people out there in all areas of life that thinks like him.

What team are you a fan of besides LSU? See the people on this board actually give a shite about what is said about the saints. We actually give a shite about the wrongful allegations. We have actually followed more than the initial witch hunt by the NFL and the media. we have put the allegations to the test and they don't fricking add up. Doctored evidence, speeches taken out of context, the overall lack of structure and responsibility of a thorough investigation. The historical severity of punishments. WE GIVE A shite. Since you don't what are you actually doing here? You sir can kindly get the frick out.

See this is why the coaches said what they did. They have no union to fight for them. The NFLPA is asking RG to re-investigate the the findings. Coaches have no union tard. This is their lively-hood. After being susp, they appealed, then after the appeal, they said we were responsible for whatever happened. This is what a captain of a ship does. They took responsibility. They had no further recourse. T he players are protected by a union. The union now told Godell to reinvestigate.
This was released Monday night. It contains a direct and open ended threat.
quote:
After four months, the following facts have now been established. The Commissioner, NFL personnel and their outside counsel:
-Ran a sloppy investigation that inexplicably included a decision to not question any of the coaches about the documentary evidence used as a basis for punishment.
-Punished players before they had the ability to confront, challenge or explain a single piece of evidence used against them.
-Launched a public campaign in the media to support the discipline and tarnish the reputations of players before any hearing, effectively destroying any claim that the Commissioner could act as an impartial arbitrator.
-Withheld any and all evidence from the players for nearly four months despite repeated requests for full information and full transparency.
-Falsely characterized witness interviews to draw false conclusions about players’ involvement in a pay-to-injure scheme.
-Retained a former U.S. Attorney to whitewash the investigation by employing her to conduct a media conference call affirming an investigation she was not part of.
-Employed the same former U.S. Attorney to today’s hearing to read the report of an investigation she did not conduct, but prohibited her from answering any questions from the players.
-Refused to make any coaches involved in preparing the supposed documentary evidence available for interviews by the players or at today’s hearing.
-Provided only 200 pages out of their claimed 18,000 pages of materials and refused to provide any materials that might be exculpatory.
-Without explanation, produced at today’s hearing a declaration from a team advisor who said that no bounty program existed.
-Inexplicably relied upon an article and a blog post written after the investigation had concluded and punishment had been issued as ‘evidence’ even though they had supposedly collected thousands of documents proving players participated in a pay-to-injure scheme.
-Refused a three-day adjournment and delay of the appeals hearing so that the players could perform a more comprehensive review of the documents.
In this matter, the conduct of the Commissioner and his representatives has undermined the fundamental process contemplated by the Collective Bargaining Agreement. Through this abuse, these players have been denied any semblance of due process and fairness.
At a time when some question the safety and integrity of the game, the failure by those charged to act responsibly and fairly have challenged our collective faith and confidence in the league.

Put that in your blind-eyed arse and smoke it!
This is why the coaches need a union also!
