Interceptions by Bree's. the Saints can win games even with a bad defense as long as they do not turn the ball over.

Losing 6 games or more....

or losing less than 6 games with the difference resulting in tied games.

1. Drew throwing interceptions
2. young receivers.
3. Injuries to OL
4. Poor Defensive secondary play(big play)
5. No Pass rush
6. LB's not covering on pass routes.

All of these are concerns

However, a team could make the playoffs with 7 wins and end up with 11 by winning the Super Bowl.

I think we go 10-6.

that is what I predicted last year. I admit I was being a big time homer.

I do think the defense will be better, but I'm concerned with our LB's a little still.

pretty fricking excited about that D-line though. God, I hope Bunkley plays more this year. The thought of him and John Jenkins rotating in the middle has me pumped.

Akiem Hicks is probably the guy I'm looking forward to watching the most this year.

With that front, I believe we can be better against the run. That is what I'm hoping for more than anything. There is nothing more demoralizing to a defense than to just have an offense run it down your throat. Just my opinion.

I'll give the secondary a break, it is getting tougher and tougher to do play DB in the NFL. This is NOT a troll, I truly believe the rule changes have fricked over defenses royally.

I understand why they've been made and accept them(most of the time) I really do try.

10-6 and playoff bound

once we get in the playoffs, anything can happen.

fricking hell Chad, I didn't really answer your question.

hold on.

I'd say another sloppy run defense would keep us from winning 10 or 11 games.

I'm not worried about the offense for the most part. Charles Brown has looked good so far, just hope he stays healthy.

I really like what I've seen from Stills. He looks poised most of the time out there, really like his awareness. He's shown great control on some sideline catches I thought.

don't know what to think of Ingram. I've kind of just accepted him for what he is. A guy who will occasionally have a nice run or two but just never live up to where he was drafted. But that is not his fault.

I think the run game will be better and a little more consistent

Balanced play calling. Even if the runs don't go anywhere you have to call the plays. Keeps the defense honest.

That and not the worst defense ever. Of our defense is in the top 25 we make the playoffs easily.

Hate to be a broken record, but this right here scares me.

I think the lack of defensive takeaways will be a problem. Especially in the interception department. We have no ball hawks in the secondary. Jenkins has no instincts, Vaccaro is untested, Harper is Harper, Lewis just breaks passes up, Greer is on the decline. Maybe Patrick Robinson can grab a few?

That being said, I'm really excited about the defense and the way that they have played. Our defensive line has a ton of upside and could help hide our inexperience at OLB. Looking forward to how they play tomorrow.

I bet Vaccaro will surprise us.
Is Greer declining or was he just bad for zone?
And I imagine white will show up even better this season.

Definitely need some of these. Hopefully Vaccaro is a ball hawk. The way he's been playing, don't be surprised to see some forced fumbles.

Asked for a Vaccaro jersey yesterday, and was told "I don't know why everyone wants his, he sucks." Oh no he di int.

I think tomorrow will be a good test of where our secondary is at. KC and Oakland have not been fair indicators.
