Lol. If anyone knows. You don't win with cornerbacks or safety's. You win with a great DL. but the Saints refused to get a elite DL guy in this draft very disappointed.

Yeah McDowell has 7.5 sacks total and is really more of a run stuffing 3 tech that can also rush.

I like McDowell (more than most here probably), but he really wasn't the kind of player we were lacking. We need that speed rusher off the edge, not yet another Fairley and Rankins. Someone that can potentially hit double digit sacks.

There was only one and he's considered to have high bust potential. Barnett, Taco, Walker etc so not make these team instantly a next level pass rush defense. I don't know why you guys dont understand that. We now have what has potential to be a top 7-8 secondary in the league with KV, Breaux, Williams, and Lattimore. Not to mention Bell who I think will improve from year one

Just noticed we'll have to start calling PJ Williams PJ instead of Williams.

Hell I forgot about him. I think our secondary will help Jordan turn some pressures into sacks (credit SFP)

Wow talk about a murderer's row! Teams are going to have to gameplan for weeks on how to stop those elite pass rushers

Who is on the Patriots' murderer's row of pass rushers?

They have a measly 4 more sacks in 2016 than we did.

We have plenty of options at DE and only need 1 to produce. Rankins can play DE on pass rushing downs if needed. Our biggest need was secondary help. We were abysmal and have been for some time. We have not had a true ball hawking safety since Woodson. Our corners were toasted. One could say it was because of a pass rush but reality is we played with 2 starting corners all year that were not on the team during camp. Despite that the team was competitive in all but 2 games.
