Armstead, Davenport, Roby, and PJ Williams were DNP today.

RR was limited.

Wednesday practice might mean nothing for Sunday, but with Armstead and Davenport not practicing, I think we should expect the worst given their histories.

RR would be huge. I'd be happy with 1 of our tackles and Davenport

Jimmy Garoppolo returned to practice for the first time since suffering his thumb injury against the Tennessee Titans on December 23. Although, the quarterback was limited.

quote:

"F--k, it hurts," Garoppolo told reporters. "I don't know how else to describe it. It feels like the web in your hand is kind of tearing a little bit. That's probably the best way I can describe it."

On LT Trent Williams:
quote:

"I know [his elbow is] hurting too much to go today," Shanahan said. "... I know this is a big game and if Trent can be out there, he'll be out there. I don't think he's looking at it in any other way right now."

quote:

Shanahan also didn't sound too concerned about the 49ers' leading rusher, rookie running back Elijah Mitchell. "He still has the same stuff he's had the last few weeks," Shanahan said, "so that's why he's not going today. I think we're listing knee as the injury."

quote:

The 49ers on Monday announced a wave of additions to the Reserve/COVID-19 list. Four players, including cornerbacks Dontae Johnson and K’Waun Williams, free safety Jimmie Ward, and running back Raheem Mostert were all placed on the COVID-19 list following Monday’s testing. San Francisco also re-signed running back Brian Hill to their practice squad and released punter Colby Wadman.

Rams have no injuries essentially. They gave a bunch of players a rest day.

FLOWERY BRANCH, Ga. -- Falcons tight end Kyle Pitts was not involved in Wednesday's practice, per a participation report issued by the team.

In other injury-related news, Fabian Moreau was a full participant Wednesday after missing the last practice week and the Week 17 loss to Buffalo with a ribs injury. Running back Qadree Ollison missed Wednesday's session with a quadriceps injury suffered during the Bills game. Frank Darby was limited with a shoulder issue.

They got the Sean Payton veteran special. A day off late in the season for banged up veterans. If they miss tomorrow completely then worry.
