He will never play a single snap.

Davis and a healthy Anzalone have completely transformed our defense.
Shhh we aren't supposed to mention that while the season is still going on.

No way he stays next season at that price when we have lots of free agents to retain
We don't. Ingram and Teddy are the only two that'll be over the $2-3 mil mark. Most will be even cheaper and we are starting with around $18 mil in cap (which could be more if the cap goes up as much as some think).
But, yeah I don’t see Coleman staying for that price, regardless of who we have to or want to sign.

Unless CSP, Drew and Teddy have a hand shake deal on how he takes over and when I see no way Teddy is signed by us next year.
With a weak QB draft next year teams will be knocking on his door with a stack of paper.

Yeah before when the trade first happened I thought it was more sure we'd find a way to fit Teddy in.
But now I'm not so sure we'd go overboard in a bidding war to keep him.
Something like a 3 year, $45 mil deal with some dummy years on the back would be the most I see us going. So maybe a $5-8 mil cap hit next year tops.
And if someone is willing to go $20+ mil then he walks.
