Another thing about Cerullo--why did he get fired?
For lying.
Why would Goodell not think him capable of doing it again? At the very least he had the makings of a classic disgruntled ex-employee whose motives should be questioned. So what does Goodell do? Does he look for corroborating witnesses who were there? No. He basically railroads the Saints coaches, who admit to a PFP program, then stuns them with these off-the-wall accusations about a bounty program and issues extreme penalties, none of which the Saints saw coming.

Roger is an egomanic.
The way he is handling the lockout of the Officials proves it. The guy has the ultimate power and is using it as he wants without any regard.
