After basically 2 weeks off-this was the best outcome for the Saints. It took them a quarter to back up to game speed and a tough win over the defending champs I think has better prepared them for the title game...a close tough win.

I dunno, man. We've been saying this for like 5 weeks now. I was hoping more for a 2009 wild card game vs Arizona- a dominating win to demonstrate we were back to scoring 40+ a game.

I understand that...but with 2 weeks not playing at game speed...it does affect them. The adversity of having to come back from 2 touchdowns will help them.

We haven’t played well offensively ( scoring wise) for a while now. Need to straighten that out.

I’m not worried at all. This team wins. Period.

Every season is different. Same thing goes for each individual game. For whatever reason, this team came out sleep walking despite the motivational tactics of Sean Payton. Even still, it was 20-0 Saints after the Eagles went up 14-0. It should have been much more if not for inconsistent offensive line play & a few awful penalties.

After the 1st quarter, the defense was lights out & the offense came to life. That seems like a huge positive for the next game in my eyes. I can't see them starting slow again in the NFC Championship Game nor do I see another sub performance from one of the best offensive lines in the league either.

We hadn't had the entire line together for a complete game since week 9 (11/4 the 1st Rams game, Armstead hurt week 10 & didn't finish in Cincy). That's over 2 months without the entire lineup being together. The rust showed yesterday.

My money is on the coaches & players getting what they got wrong cleaned up for this week's game.
