This team sucks because we have nobody that can scout talent.

Especially on defense. Benson wont fire Loomis. Do you think Gale will have the balls to hire a real GM after Benson dies? I doubt it.

We are screwed! Lester Earl was right.

If you think defense is the problem tonight, I don't know what to tell you. Special teams and turnovers are killing us.

The team sucks because the coaching staff has grown complacent. We need new positional coaches more than new talent.

Seems like they scouted some talent on defense, allowed 223 yards tonight on 60 plays... less than 4 yards per play... Pretty impressive. Did you watch the game? The front 7 was smothering and for the most part the secondary played sound football

Rankins looks legit. Bell looks promising. Thomas is good as frick. Davison is one of the best run stopping DTs in the NFL. Peat is a fricking mauler on the left side. Crawley, a UDFA, has started almost every game and is holding his own every week. Getting graded very well from PFF, when was the last time you saw him give up a big play? He plays 90+% of the snaps.

Thats just college scouting. The pro scouts are killing it too. Fairley was a nice snag. Ellerbe is great. Stupar, Robertson. BW Webb and Sterling Moore have been pretty fricking good for in-season additions.

This team has a lot of fricking problems, and they've not been very good historically scouting, but if you think it hasn't been better recently (and worthy of praise) then you're just dead wrong.

Strong post. I agree. Defense has gotten better. But special teams are possibly the worst of this decade

Yep. That's been a problem for the Saints going back to 1967, brosef. It's been 49 years and counting that the Saints can't find a man who knows how to build and sustain a winning NFL roster.

We all thought that Payton was another Bill Parcells but were very wrong about that. Payton needs a Boss GM who knows how to build an NFL roster.

Disagree. The talent level has risen drastically over the last two years. Position coaches might be the worst in the NFL, though
