No way they could have kept up that scoring average and continued to dominate on offense like they had the first 2 games. Taysom HIlls absence was major but any good DC can figure out how to stop the Saints offense and that is to put pressure on Carr at any expense. The defense played strong today and they will be allright for the rest of the year. Carr was due a bad game as well dating back to the last 9 games of playing very good and under control. I still love this team but I really think a lot of fans saw this game coming and it didn't help when the Eagles lost the way they did last week. Their D line was agressive and ready for whatever the Saints threw at them. Oh well, 2-1. Move on to next week and get that W.

They struggle because they cannot replace McCoy with Patrick and put Udoh in the game. It kills two positions. Saints O will struggle for as long as McCoy is out.

Losing McCoy was a big blow. He helps set up blitz coverage and is their best player on the o-line. They had an 8 minute drive to open the game that ended in a field goal. When he left, we struggled.
