They should have gone to Taysom heavily once it got to one score. There was plenty of time left.

Pete Carmichael strikes again.
Taysom Hill is obviously the Saint offensive identity. We win when Taysom Hill is heavily involved in the offensive.
Minnesota will be expecting the Saint to lean on Taysom Hill. Better make sure Taysom Hill doesn’t have many plays designed for him. And when your starting QB goes out definitely don’t let Hill run any QB plays. They will really confuse the Vikings staff.

They didn't use Taysom after Carr got hurt because he was the backup QB at that point. Remember we have no emergency qb. Carmichael is still an idiot for not using him early though.

As soon as Taysom had his gear requested for the HOF, you just knew the Saints staff didn’t want his notoriety to fill up the QB room. Too much fragility on this coaching staff and with the QB’s.

If Jameis and Taysom had gotten hurt, Lynn Bowden could've take snaps to end the game. Is it the best plan? No, but he is familiar with the position.
