It's been a rough few years before this and I'm soaking up every bit of still being relevant after the regular season and having as good a chance as anyone at another ring. Regardless of what happens Sunday (even though we're kicking that arse), I finally feel like this thing is headed in the right direction with a ton of young talent and the right mix of leadership and experience added.

I had a moment Sunday when tailgating where I thought "man this is fricking nice considering I've been on the couch watching these games the last 3 years"

We're still talking about football games two weeks after 24 other teams

Compared to the rest of saints history, it really hasnt been. I enjoyed watching the saints the past 3 seasons. We've had the best offense the 3 past years despite going 7-9. We could have easily finished with a winning record last year with some luck on our side.

But holy shite, I am pumped to be back. WHO DAT!

The great thing is we could be better next season. So many guys hurt this year and so many young guys who will only get better (scary). Keep drew healthy and we should have 2 more years of this at least.
