I think this is a good possibility. Would love to see that happen.

My guess is there are very few local companies that can pony up enough money to make it worth it for the Saints to give in. A national company with a local office or some such might end up being the way to go.

Not sure what you mean? Bud Light is not it's own company.
AB is a very big Saints sponser as it is though. I think they had almost an excluse beer rights for Saints games until a recently.

How about instead of a big corporate name we get a bunch of local New Orleans and Louisiana establishments to bind together, pitch in, and give it a ridiculously long absurd name that mocks such corporate influences?

The Zatarain's Cafe du Monde Dixie Beer Parkway Bakery and Tavern Pat O'briens Wagner's Meat Rouses Abita Beer Zapp's Potato Chips Louisiana Superdome

It has a nice ring to it.

Paint the top copper and call it the Duracell Dome it'd be the only dome identified visually with a product

IDK about the "Louisiana" part but it's almost certain that Superdome will be a part of the name. Or maybe something like "Pepsi Field at the Louisiana Superdome"
