All I'm saying is there are people blowing it out of proportion. It's getting a bit rediculous

Cleveland would be a nice landing spot, to pair with Hillis. And they have the picks to make it happen.

sounds like he is gone IM

He's a big Lakers fan and was at the Hornets game. The Hornets game ended at about the same time as the saints picked Ingram. It's all speculation but his tweet could have been about the Hornets being done.

He will probably go to Carolina, and rush for 1000+ a season.

If he doesn't take one here he will have to take one somewhere else. He is not good enough to justify the money he was making.

Exactly, I think this is the main reason he's not gonna leave. He fits our system perfectly and anywhere else they'd ask to be a pure RB which I don't think he'd do well in. He's gonna have to take a paycut anywhere so I don't see how he could possibly just say no I'm not taking one. Hence the thinking it's all speculation.

5 years with Saints:

524 carries
2090 yards
294 receptions
2142 yards

1 kick return in his career and 92 punts returns

Sorry but those are not GREAT numbers for any RB, esp one picked with the 2nd pick of the draft

Now, add in the other 1200 plays when he was on the field and didn't get the ball by design, and then add in 49 wins, 2 NFC South titles, two NFCCG appearances, and a Super Bowl title.

Those are GREAT numbers for the 2nd overall pick in the draft.

If 48 minutes is "about the same time", then you may have a point, but he was tweeting about the draft at the time he said it's been fun.

I'll believe it when I see it. Here is a blog post that I regularly read suggesting otherwise, for a good reason.

How about looking at all the games he missed every year due to his "delicate" body where the offense did not miss a beat?

The decoy talk is way overrated. Reggie Bush being a "decoy" does not make that offense move the ball. It is Drew Brees finding one of 5 potential receivers open and having some ability to get the pressure off with a decent running game.

Did you hear Les Miles is taking the Michigan head coaching job? I saw it on ESPN, it must be true.

I'll miss him, but I'm sure he's glad to be getting out of NOLA.
