Race... give me a f---ing break. He wasn't ever going get the Saints anywhere as proved by the 2002 season. It has nothing to do with race, if he performed he would have been embraced. LSU fans that were not the JR ticket wasn't because of race, it was because he was lazy and could have been much better.
