im thinking he'll be our goaline/shortyardage back if he proves to run well with his early carries.

Ivory will get some touches from Ingram, but Ingram will be back in a couple of games because Ivory will get hurt.

It's 'than' and this is bookmarked so I can throw it in your faces later. Might as well post porn to get this thread whacked so I can't use it later.

I tend to agree. SP wouldn't keep bringing up Ivory if he wasn't going to get some touches when he comes back.

Ivory is really good but he just can't stay healthy.

Oh, and JLSIX, I'm not saying Ivory is better than Ingram. I'm just comparing their rookie years so far...

I say Ivory is better then Ingram, if Ivory wasn't so injury prone he could easily be one of the best backs in the league.

wow, really?

how about this....

You don't know football.

You think Ivory is better than Ingram based on Ivory playing different teams in a different season with a different offensive line and running different plays. Who's the idiot?

Ivory made the best out of his rushing attempts with a oline that started going downhill in run blocking, while SP is running the ball more this year as it is evident.

wow, 3 people agree with you and that's including NIH who may be the worst fan we have and the biggest Ingram hater there is. Not really bolstering your argument buddy. And, considering the fact that all three of you are basing your opinions on statistics from different players from different years, it's laughable. As I said earlier, this is bookmarked. Be a man when your stupidity comes to light in a few weeks.

ivory broke an insane amount of tackles last year and was absolutely incredible. I didn't expect for Ingram to live up to him. Ingram is the back that is supposed to last the entire season year in and out, and that is why he is more valuable.

Based on their on-the-field performances, their is little doubt that ivory is the better runner of the two (so far in their careers).

so Ingram isn't running behind backups? Idiot.

which makes the comparison completely erroneous.

What's your point? Do you think it isn't possible for a backup olinemen to be better than a starting one? This thread is about Ivory, not the oline. Idiot.
