I believe we’ve wound up with even more Saints fans than ever to cheer us on next year.

That;s nice but those are bandwagoners. Truth be told I am not sure if Brees still have it in him or our Defense will still be as good. We need DB badly. We stuff the run but the air destroyed us.
This year was set up with the perfect storyline. New Orleans French Colony, vs New England British Colony. It has international appeal. It also pit two of the best QB against one another head to head. Brady Goat status also on the line while Brees the constantly underestimated underdog.
It would have been a battle for the ages, the last two great QB with long term head coach.
But nah, they needed that 10 billion for LA rams and NFL stadium.

Drew is obviously hurt. I'm not really concerned for this upcoming season. Even with the assumed injury, he still had his most efficient year of his career.
But when Taysom's time comes, he will be ready.
He gets 2 years at least to learn from Drew Brees. Throw in his physical skills and I think he might well surprise himself when the Saints do inevitably have to name a replacement for Brees.
