Carr looked solid with the Pats

My guess is this is just a temporary move while we get the rest of the roster situated. I expect him back.

yea, thats what they are speculating. Just didnt really expect that one

Just said in the other thread it's likely only until we waive the QB we picked up to put him on the PS.

Tapp also cut, which he is likely to be one of those on and off the roster guys all year.
Joel Erickson also said Breaux only had to be rostered until 3:01 pm today to be eligible for return status.

I think you're right about Tapp, although I could see him getting an offer for a steady gig elsewhere and taking it.
Kuhn will almost certainly be right back on the roster.

BTW, I really like the way this roster is constructed on defense. For a change.

I don't really either, but he looked better than Dural for sure.
I thought Dural looked pretty good besides that blatant drop. I'm not saying he's a more complete player than Lampman right now, but I think he has much more potential as a WR. Dural creates more separation & has much better run after the catch in comparison to Lampman. Also has a couple of inches on him. Obviously, Lampman brings the special teams bonus. I assume Lampman is a better blocking WR as well. I just don't see Lampman ever developing into a legit WR(like a #3 or #4 WR).

I can agree with that, but I don't know if either will ever be good enough to be more than a PS player or the 6th WR who is rarely activated.
I did see more potential with Dural in the actual receiving department. But also like you said I don't see him doing well in the blocking/special teams phases, which are crucial for a bottom of the roster receiver.
Hell Coleman's blocking, much like a returned Meachem, is the main reason he stuck and why Seantavious Jones (who may have been a better receiver) didn't.

History says neither of them will.

I really thought that he would make the roster eventually.

Replace Anthony with Bighill

I thought so at first, but I'd rather Bighill on the PS so we can keep both. Bighill probably won't get poached, & someone will probably claim Anthony if we cut him. I think we made the smart move.

I think I saw him playing for someone this preseason. Maybe Pittsburgh?

I know he did last year, but not sure about this year.

Per wikipedia & Rotoworld...He didn't make the 53 man cut for the Chiefs, & wasn't signed to the PS. Don't think he's on a team right now.
On February 8, 2016, he was cut by the Saints.
On February 18, 2016, Jones signed with the Philadelphia Eagles. He was released on April 4, 2016.
Jones was signed by the Kansas City Chiefs. On August 28, 2016, Jones was waived by the Chiefs. On September 4, he was signed to the Chiefs' practice squad. He signed a reserve/future contract with the Chiefs on January 19, 2017. Chiefs waived/released WR Seantavius Jones on September 2, 2017.
