Yes! And the city, the org and the fans deserve that Ring. The NFL's "Bounty" narrative was always bullshite.
But, 2009 was 11 years ago. There's not much in the way of Playoff success to talk about since then, for the Saints. That's going to be the Legacy.

Yeah, it’s a better legacy than the dome patrol because they won playoff games and one Super Bowl, but like the dome patrol, they were absolutely awful in the playoffs.

IMHO, that's for him to decide.
His Legacy will always be: Comes up small on the Big Stage in the Playoffs. That's already decided. He can't change that if he retires now.
