I'm actually suprised that Tevis got overlooked in the draft. He was a very good LB at Boise. He has pretty good cover skills, very quick, and has a very high motor. Could be one of our "diamonds in the rough"

Kinda what I'm hoping. Boise State runs a legit program and pumps out some good prospects, IMO. Still think he looks like he needs to get in the weight room a little bit, though.

Patrick Witt was a good QB at Yale...could also be a diamond in the rough...er.

I actually like our potential for 3rd QB.
Canfield
Brohm
Witt
Canfield has been here for a couple of years now and has stuck around. So they obviously think he could develop into a solid backup.
Brohm was great in college and might just need the right situation to finally right the ship. Maybe learning from Brees and PCJ is what he needs.
I'm guessing Witt is a pretty smart guy since he went to Yale, and has a good frame. Don't know anything about him, but if you liked him, that's another plus.

I was just messing around, I remember you saying something along the lines of the board would get more excited when you posted pics of the rookies running around in shorts and t shirts then a real discussion of what spags is going to bring to the table.

Not saying I should be analyzing players for a living or anything but Im normally pretty good at seeing players who have potential. I called the Jason David pickup...god was that a bad FA signing. I also predicted that Jimmy Clausen wouldnt do shite. Couple of other hits and misses. I help coach defense at a local high school for community service...but again I am by no means a professional I just get lucky with 50/50 picks.

what was your professional opinion on Cam?

Sounds about as accurate as any opinion you might get from a talking head on TV.
What I mean is your opinion is good enough for me. I'm not going to put money down on him making the team, but if you like him, that's another positive for him.
What were you doing watching Yale games?
