Why were we not more prepared on this play? Payton should have left his entire def out there including his starting db’s and just tell TLL to fair catch it. We up 13-0 with momentum and the Rams were desparate to make a play to change it. I was screaming to be prepared for that. Big play in this game that has gotten lost bc of the no- call.

Maybe that's why we're making changes on ST.

Its time that the Who Dat Nation let's this go.

Let's rally around Drew Brees and company and put all this negative energy into the 2019 season.

Yeah, someone on the defense called it, but due to our crowd noise, couldn’t relay it to Hardee who ran upfield and didn’t guard the receiver. I saw them get Taysom off the line and motioned for the right side to guard the gunner. Should’ve called a timeout

Changed the whole flow of the game...we were up 13-0 and were sure to get the ball back and put more points on the board.

You can't be a saints fan and bring up the fake punt.

Any fake punt is hard to be 100% prepared for, but, I said at the time, be on the lookout for the punt. They were notorious all year for those and we had just done the same thing the week prior down 14-0.

other then the actual kickers, our ST have been really terrible for years now.

if the kick isnt a touchback or fair catch then you had to hold your breath and more often then not we gave up big returns

No one cares because it happened early in the 2nd Quarter. There was plenty of football left to play.

The game wasn’t on the line at that point.

Yes the Saints got caught off guard but so fricking what. That’s not what cost them the game.
