Uhh what? We were 0-3 in games he started, and he was horrendous in all three.
The guy belongs nowhere near the roster. He was by far the worst cornerback I’ve seen in a Saints uniform. The guy has made absolutely no plays in two seasons with the team.

I'm not pushing for the dude to be a starter this year
I'm just saying if he was good enough to do well in practice his first 2 years he obviously has the athletic ability. He didn't hardly touch the field his rookie year except some on special teams and it was obvious he didn't have a clue what he was doing last year. I'm just saying I could see him on practice squad this year, and after another summer camp next year possibly be a 4th or 5th CB. He seems to be better suited for the nickel role anyways, not boundary CB like he did last year. At best case for him, I could see him backing up PRob in the nickel role next year, or maybe being a better special teams contributor and not run into the punt returner again like his rookie year
If he gets cut and doesn't even make the practice squad than so be it. But some guys take a few years to grasp the game, he could possibly be one of those guys. We have enough talent at CB we can wait him out if the coaches choose to.

Is it mandatory that no player is cut until after the last preseason game/ sept 1 hard cut date?
Or is that now just a hard date to have your roster finalized and you can cut players throughout camp?
Couldnt recall from last year.
You can cut anyone anytime. We could carry 30 players right now if we wanted (no team would want that though).
Those deadlines just say you have to trim the roster down by said date, not that you can't cut anyone before then.
