100%. Not only did it take our best back out, it forced us to take Sproles off kickoff returns and Roby fumbled one that gave the 49’ers a cheap TD.

No doubt. If you think Whitner didn’t walk out of the 49’ers next practice with a whole pocket full of cash for knocking Pierre out, you’re crazy. And that was the game where they got Gregg Williams on tape. Of course the Saints didn’t have anything remotely close to a late hit that game and we got our starting RB knocked out, but we got fricked the following year.
