Then you haven't watched college football much.
Nor has he seen much NFL football either because Harvin has been great when healthy

The TE is pretty good.
Pretty good? You think Graham is pretty good?
Unless you're talking about the position as a whole, in which case I understand due to questionable depth.

Right now Sproles is a way better player than Percy Harvin. Harvin was one of the best college football players I have ever seen but he hasn't really been that great in the NFL.
If you put Harvin in Sproles role right now, he'd put up better numbers in the 2/3 less games he would play.

Harvin is faster, shiftier, and a better receiver. His biggest problem is injury. Harvin, when healthy, is a top 5-10 threat in this league.

Sproles is a better runner and just broke THE ALL PURPOSE YARD RECORD. So while I won't say Sproles is a better receiver, there's no way he comes close to his production.

You know who held that record before him?
The all-time great, future HoFer, Derrick Mason. I'm not arguing that Sproles isn't good, but given the same opportunities, I think Harvin could break that record.

Agree to disagree. Sproles had a Special year.

That he did. All-Purpose yardage is kind of a weird record though, because if you're a good returner AND have an active role in the offense, you're going to put up some crazy numbers.

Percy Harvin wants out of Minnesota.
We just resigned Colston. We have Moore, Henderson, and just drafted Toon. The TE is pretty good. RB stable is fairly well set up. Sproles just broke the record for all purpose yardage. We aren't exactly in a great position to take on new contracts, which I am sure Harvin will require. And, that isn't even thinking about the monster contract pending for #9.
How could the Saints possibly pull off adding Harvin?
Trade Toon and Arrington for him?

Who is this Percy Harvin clown?
Posted on 6/20/12 at 3:52 pm to Jcorye1
If we include salary I'm certainly going Sproles. Part of the reason Harvin wants a trade is he wants a raise from his 1st round deal.
Not considering salary, thete talents are simillar but I'm fine letting my Saints bias have me say Sproles is better.
Not only has Harvin punched coaches but anyone notice he stopped having Migraines after his coach the Korneheisr look a like, got fired

Sarcasm? Cause I don't think that's coming even close.

chase daniels , henderson, cris ivory ,and a fourth next year for harvin and a fith round pick sounds even to me. We have luke mccown to back up brees. Minnesota needs a solid backup running back and a possible starting qb i think they would jump on the trade.Plus we could throw in arrington or another pick maybe a third if need be. Gets rid of some dead weight adds a pretty good punch.

But seriously, first of all, no. And second of all, it's Chase Daniel (not daniels).
