I'll eat my crow here. Drew played better, and Payton actually decided to run the ball. Hard to argue that our offense either shows or doesn't under Payton.
I am proud to say while I didn't doubt we could come back, I am glad to admit I was wrong that Brees would have a turnaround in this game. That said, he still had 4 turnovers, and I hope we don't see that again this season.
Defense won this game for us by the way as much as the offense.

Also, I never said how often Brees is up or down. The guy is a beast when he's up, which is 85% of the time. Just said that when he's down that 15% its usually pretty bad. He has no middle ground normally, but I am happy he turned it around.

He proved me wrong, but his career has said otherwise when he struggles. Prior to today it was what 1-13 for NO when Brees threw 2 or more picks?

By the way, we've been offensively great in 3 games and average or bad in 3.
First 2 offense was great. Next 2 we were average at best. Then exploded on the giants. Then sucked for 30 minutes in this game.
It's not asking for perfection, but consistency and more in playcalling than the players you douche.

WTF is it with you people obsessing over Brees like he is Jesus Christ. The guy is a great QB, but lets not be blind here. He has his issues like any QB including Brady and Manning do.
I called him out, so fricking what? He was playing horrible almost the entire first half, and 3 of 4 turnovers were on him, especially the first 2 picks. They both resulted in TDs that put this team down and were horrible decisions.

Did I complain about them not scoring on every possession? No. I complain that either they are on or they tend to self implode and hurt the team.
I could care less if its 3-0 win. Our inept offensive playcalling and execution handed them about 17 points in the first half alone. So in that sense, you can blame them.
