You're doing a really good job.

In any of his post, did he state Brees was not elite?

again voted number 2 best player in the NFL by the players. nuff said.
That was in 2012. If they did a poll today, would he still be there?

any ways just ignore me. this is therapy.
I'm trying to, but the irrelevant and incorrect information you are bringing to the table is flooding the thread. Be an adult and provide facts to mold your opinion around. I agree with some of the stuff you posted but these last couple are just flat out garbage.

If Cam could do it and get away with it, the 100 million dollar man in Brees can do it.

Cam is an arrogant piece of shite that lets his team down everytime he acts like a 5 yr old. It just isnt in Drew's personality to undermine his OC. Like i said, he is the perfect tool for the crafter, but he isnt the crafter.

They dont need people telling them how or what to do, just what adjustments need to be made

I'd hesitantly agree with you on this point, with a few strings attached, but you know as well as i do Carmichael isnt the guy figuring out adjustments

ETA: Sorry about the frick you dude comment. That may have been premature.

going into this season i was positive that brees was the glue that would hold this thing together but since the first game i have not seen any emotion or fire.. things that imo were always his strongest suit.. i was prepared for a rough season but yesterday was like the twilight zone..

I agree.

I would also agree with this, but given the situation, I think Brees is much more of a crafter than Carmichael is. All Carmichael's crafts are paper-mache and the other team pisses all over it. Then, Brees is left with a stench-filled, wet, and hard to manage pile of garbage on the ground to clean up.

ETA: I was wondering about that. I was hoping you had some gif that would encapsulate his mind for a while so I didn't have to filter through all that crap.

Other than your 500 pound benchpress, what makes you think you're "strong"?

Dude, I understand some stuff you are saying but you need to go do some research.

looks like he's done a shite ton of research to me

Favre, Manning went from Dungy to Caldwell to Fox, Brees himself did it coming from San Diego.

Going from Dungy to Caldwell doesn't change the offensive system AT ALL. You can't say he's been successful with Fox yet either. All of those situations you listed are NOTHING like the Saints anyway. They all had full coaching staffs and weren't down 2 guys with a new DC coming in as well

Patriots have the highest winning percentage since 2006. So please look again.

Denver does have a new DC too. Can I say he has been more successful than Brees since the transition? We also were talking about mentors and other aspects rather than solely the offensive system but has that changed since Payton left?

Other than things like touchdowns, wins, Super Bowl MVPs, Offensive POY awards, a consistently top scoring and ranked offense, and leadership?

Besides that, he's average. (smh)

Whatever dude. I see Christian Ponder is way up there. He isn't a better QB than Brees, but have you seen his EX GIRLFRIEND? Kacie McDonnell? Never heard of her B4 yesterday but DANG!!! What was he thinking when he messed that up?

Seriously?

I'm not a Saints fan, and I didn't read any of the 7 pages of this.

Just looking at your OP, you are saying QB ratings after 3 games (with replacement refs and no head coach) means he is overpaid?

Or worse, that Christian Ponder and Jake Locker should be paid more?

You take away Drew's passing yards, completion %, his touchdowns, pocket awareness, and his super bowl mvp trophy and you got yourself a short sub par quarterback.

But if you don't count passing yards, completion. %, touchdowns, pocket awareness, and a Super Bowl MVP trophy, add 3 inches, w/ no playoff wins. Then you got a subpar Matt ryan.
