Good.

If I'm wrong, I'll own it.

Looks like a QB w/ 7 NFL starts owned that arse last night.

In his second preseason game with the team, QB Brock Osweiler earned an average grade while playing most of the first half. Osweiler got his first touchdown of the preseason on a well-thrown ball to rookie Will Fuller in the first quarter. But he underthrew Fuller later in the half in the end zone, leading to a P.J. Williams interception. In all, he was under pressure on just three of 20 dropbacks, going 0-for-2. He also was 9-for-10 on passes targeted under 10 yards downfield, but just 3-for-10 on passes 10-plus yards downfield.

Oh yea. Hall of fame performance. He owned our defense. Good observation.

It is a trend that is disturbing. (from the past two years)

QB's with minimal starting experience look very comfortable back there.

He didn't do as well as he could have, but he sure as hell had plenty of time.

You disagree?

And to be fair, that was a poor choice of words on my part. He could've owned it b/c our defense was so soft, like a marshmallow or one of those real soft hotel pillows.

His accuracy was a bit off (timing) so he'll look like an HOF'er next time he plays us.

I was as you know disagreeing with your statement that he "owned that arse".

Brock looked OK as his stats suggest. With their defense thats all they need for now.
Our turnovers and lack of a run game stinks so bad after two games.I have little problem with our defense so far in preseason.

And yes. We seem to make first time starters always look better than they are. And this seems to go back 50 years.

Yeah, you're right. That was an overstatement.

It was just annoying to watch, especially 1's vs 1's.

It sucked I wasted a lot of good bourbon last night.
But for me the sky is not falling. Not yet but 3 weeks is not a lot of time to get the o-line up to just average.
We will see.

He dinked and dunked on a vanilla defense with a bunch of young players.

Our issue was always giving up the big play. Minus the PJ TD where he forgot to look we held the big play in check.

And that really extended to our backups as well, which was an improvement over last week.

My worry is that we start slow on offense again and struggle to find our identity like we did last year before we started tearing it up.

Though if the defense is improved it won't hurt as bad as last year.
