Wait are they seriously having a clown? I must have skimmed that part. That is insane. Maybe there's a gentleman's club within walking distance if we get the old heave-ho.

There is no clown. I'm sure it is the same guy they have used for other events. He just makes balloon animals and stuff(football helmets, LSU themed stuff) for the kids. It gives the kids something to do so the parents and adults can watch the game. The guy wears regular clothes and he is actually really good at what he does.

Yall are getting really paranoid now Seriously, the whole kid thing has never been an issue.

Redneck....keep in mind though, this is an alum event. So its not like its gonna be tons of people your age there to be honest. I'm sure because of all the people coming in town for the Saints game that it will be a wide variety of all age groups. But if you are expecting a bunch of wild and crazy twenty-something year olds, you might be setting yourself up for disappointment. However....if you want to be around lots of real LSU fans watching LSU football, it will be your best bet. Yall can go party it up in Tempe or Old Town Scottsdale and watch the game with a younger crowd, but I guarantee you they aren't gonna care really that LSU is playing.

Y'all are rediclous. If you have such a problem with it being a family event, then go someplace else. This is the way LSU Phoenix decided to do it and nobody is forcing you to go.

It turned out great. I wound up playing touch football with kids at halftime which is ironic/funny given all the shite I was talking. Also it was plenty rowdy enough so total hat tip to everyone involved.

Gotcha. I'm trying to see what time the party bus from Scottsdale is arriving. Me and my bf aren't riding on it, but we are meeting some people that are and trying to figure out when we should leave.

That is who we are meeting up with as well(I just have 480s number). They found someone who is supposed to be having a huge tailgate on the lawn or something. I know a bunch of Saints fans are gonna be hanging out at Saddle Ranch in Westgate(it is right next to the stadium). I'm sure we will see you before kickoff

I've got a video of everybody watching/celebrating the winning TD but I'll probably never get around to uploading it.

This was alot of fun. I had fun at the Saints game too. We did end up meeting with 2 vans full of Saints fans who flew in. We invited them to tailgate with us on the lawn. It was fun hanging out with people from back home.

Cal Cajun, your boudin was excellent, man!

I was at that tailgate....I was the tall blonde in the white saints tank top and denim capri leggings. Despite the game, had a good time .
