The Giants should organization should be kicked in the nuts for letting David Tyree go. He won them a superbowl. A little respect these days for players like that is something you never see.

It's a business, Ryan-tard.

Panthers placed DT Corvey Irvin (knee) on injured reserve, ending his season.

You're not going to find a worse interior defensive line situation in the league. Irvin, a third-round pick, was being counted on for a big role with Ma'ake Kemoeatu out for the year. For fantasy running back matchups, remember that Carolina's defense projects to be very poor against the run.

In a move that sent shockwaves across the NFL, the Patriots traded five-time Pro Bowl defensive lineman Richard Seymour to the Oakland Raiders today in exchange for a 2011 first-round draft choice.

------now THAT is dealing with salary cap issues, was in the last year of his contract

As first reported by Michael Wright of the Florida Times-Union, the Jacksonville Jaguars have acquired Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Luke McCown for an undisclosed 2010 draft choice.

Lions make first waiver claim on Mccauley

PRACTICE SQUAD signings starting to trickle out

Nice something for nothing move-
Jets acquired QB Kevin O'Connell from the Lions in exchange for undisclosed compensation.

Offensive guard Kendall Simmons has signed a deal with the Patriots, according to FoxSports.com’s Alex Marvez. The former Pittsburgh Steeler was a first-round pick in 2002.

Vikings signed QB John David Booty to their practice squad.
It's pretty surprising that the Redskins, Rams, and Packers showed no interest. Booty, the Vikes' fifth-round pick in 2008, may resurface on the Minnesota's active roster if they can pull off a trade of Tarvaris Jackson.

Brohm clears waivers, pretty bad career outlook when a 2nd rder doesn't get sniff

Tom Silverstein, of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, reports free-agent QB Brian Brohm (Packers) has cleared waivers, but he is taking his time deciding which practice squad he plans to join. The Green Bay Packers are waiting to hear from him and are holding a spot open for him, but he is talking with other clubs, according to a league source.

Still wouldn't mind a looksee on him

update
After mulling over his options and talking with other teams about joining their practice squad, Brohm decided to stick in Green Bay, according to the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel.

Tuskers or Packers PS?

Beckwith makes SD PS. Not just homerism, I wonder if they talked to him?
