Obviously the NFL couldn't have predicted what would happen in our game... esp. now with everyone knowing that 4 of the 7 officials on the crew working our game was from the Greater Los Angeles area... they just wanted to put the highest graded officials on the field in the biggest games of the season

that said... if the official schedule had noticed the potential conflict of interest... all they would've needed to do is flip the 2 crews

here's the crew that worked the AFC game and the college they graduated from

Referee - Clete Blakeman (Nebraska)
Umpire - Bryan Neale (Indiana)
Down Judge - Dana McKenzie (Toledo)
Line Judge - Kent Payne (Nebraska Wesleyan)
Field Judge - Terry Brown (Tennessee)
Side Judge - Brad Freeman (Mississippi State)
Back Judge - Greg Meyer (TCU)

and Freeman & Meyer are full time officials

that way the L.A. based crew could've not worked a L.A. based team's game ... esp. a conference championship

and FWIW... my honest opinion... Vinovich & his crew was like "we're going to let them play and not impact the game with close penalties"... only they missed a very obvious 1

If you call yourself a professional referee, you can’t miss that call. Whether you’re from Los Angeles or anywhere else

no, it was an intentional and organised rigging of the game

This just doesn’t hold up. Late in the game, the Saints received a punt from the Rams. The Saints would begin that drive in Rams territory, almost assured of adding to the lead and potentially going up two scores. The first play is a running play with Mark Ingram getting a descent gain. But, here comes the flag, holding Saints, 1st & 20, drive derailed. With all of the holding going on by both lines, why the one flag in that situation? Does that look like the refs “letting them play without impacting the game”? Hell no, it’s bullshite and that call totally destroys the refs we’re just letting them play argument.

When that holding flag came out I swear I saw the fix coming

I got nervous as hell and went to standing and pacing.. my gf telling me calm down but I kept repeating were gonna lose this game I see it coming

I’m a saints fan and we’ve lost every way possible.. I saw that shite coming a mile away when they called holding to kill our drive.
