9ers just signed Louis Delmas. Do they have the money for Namdi Assyourmom?
ETA: Albert Breer is retracting his tweet about Delmas signing with the 9ers. Not sure what to believe now.

still probably no unless he want to play for a third of his market value.

So what you're saying is that the saints are capped out and are stuck with jack and shite on defense?
Edited...English are difficult.

They can get one big name player or a couple of good players.
But that's about it.
Saints do get Sean Payton, new DC Rob Ryan, and the move to a 3-4 defense.
So I wouldn't expect it to be the same defense as 2012.

CB Keenan Lewis will sign a five-year, $26 million, including $11 million guaranteed, with the Saints, a source says.

I'd argue if you even put an average QB like Alex Smith on the Saints offense, they wouldn't win more than 5 games with that offense and defense.

Welp, time to shut it down until the draft.

That's not bad. He's from New Orleans.
I don't think smith is THAT bad, but I know what you're saying. If I'm running an air raid offense, he definitely wouldn't be my first choice.

Depends on his first year cap figure. We might try sneaking another guy in.

This has been such an awesome up to the minute thread that the entire board has contributed to. I don't recall another thread that stayed on time like this one. Except for in game threads of course.
