One would think he was gonna step in and just nail it. I thought he would be great, I hated the previous guy. But I guess it’s not that easy. Let’s find somebody that can nail it, remind us of Henderson, the man.

This got me to thinking about Saints announcers of the past.
I remember in 1978 when the Falcons' Steve Bartkowski threw a last second Hail Mary to win the game.
Then Saints play by play announcer Wayne Mack was so disgusted that he abruptly cancelled the network's post-game and locker room shows
