A lot is said about Carr and the OL injuries, but here is a slightly different thread on the issue. I took an Adderall and broke down the impact the McCoy injury drive by drive.

With McCoy as the Center, the Saints engineered scoring drives on 17 of their first 21 drives, including a FG on the drive that he was inured.
81% of their drives; we scored.

Without McCoy, the Saints have only scored on 8 of their 26 drives. His absence resulted in us only scoring on a mere 31% of drives.

When he returns, I think we can regain control of the line and return to the team we saw in Weeks 1 +2.

Or, is it possible that DC’s have just adjusted to Kubiak, and he hasn’t countered effectively? Obviously, the injuries are a huge issue, but lack of adjustments could be as well.

I’d say it’s losing the best C in the game per pff the first two weeks, along with the starting RG

We’re never going back to that kind of efficiency. It wasn’t sustainable regardless of who is available.

New offense with no film that introduced a ton more motion compared to PC offense, fresh non beat up kamara, seemingly pretty shitty defenses coming off not really playing in preseason.

It was a huge improvement but it was also kind of the perfect storm.

Losing a starting Center is huge. Kelemente was the only Saints backup OLlinemane that could come in and play any position without a significant drop off.
