I admit it and its not because of Bama its merely because his vision is piss poor no cut back at all never see other holes are reverse back side.

I think Ingram is a very productive back but I also think if we turned CJ Spiller loose he'd be more deadly than Ingram. Either way, I'd say we're in great shape at RB in the future. Now, can we grab some WRs and an o-line...oh and an entire defense?

I wasn't a fan of his till this year. The guy has been running with purpose. Any negative feelings toward him have 0 to do with the school he went to

He runs into a huge hole then trips up his own self. He gets up and slams the ball in disgust . This happened twice a game for the last two years .

And to the OP, for what it's worth I'm a huge LSU fan and hate bama passionately but I think Ingram is a good RB and would be a lot more effective if we committed to the running game more

There's still a somewhat legit argument that we spent too much to get him, but probably would have just wasted the picks anyway. He's turned into a pretty good player after struggling early.

Because we used a 1st on a position we could have gotten the same production out of in a later round.

Ingram is a good back but in the easiest position to transition to in the NFL, he was horrid for his first 2.5 years and for what the Saints gave up for him, he still is not even close to worth his value at the draft.
Add in his attitude and behavior at times, especially given he plays is Louisiana, the Bama fanboy shite has been ridiculous.
All that said, he is a slightly above average back and a decent value currently bug still hurt this team when it was actually competing for championships based on what they cojld have got in place of him for two draft picks.

Shut the frick up with this nonsense. Are you serious right now? The dude busts his arse and loves this team. His attitude is fantastic. God forbid the guy cares about the college that helped make him a millionaire.

With the pedigree Ingram has he hasn't been that good. He was a product of a great Bama OL. A great OL is something that seems to have escaped CSP's plan.
Chris Ivory and Khiry Robinson embarrass Ingram with their reckless abilities. Too bad we didn't dump Ingram and keep a less expensive Ivory to go along with Khiry. Plus, we'd have had a dew more years of Pierre - someone who CAN execute the screen pass.

First impression (first two years) hurt him. The fans have warmed up to him since then. If the Saints ran more he'd be more effective.

Are we ignoring Ingram's play the last 2 years now? Since midway through 13, he's been our best back.

And are you saying Ingram hasn't been a receiving threat lately? Do you watch the games?
