Ingram has showed nothing, not even a flash of "damn did you see that"

I disagree I think he has had several moments of "damn did you see that" they have just been few and far between... Remember last year when Sproles went down and it was Pierre, Ingram, and Ivory for 3 games all of them went off..... IMO i think the problem is how he (Ingram) is utilized... I feel like if he gets a bit of space like with a counter or toss sweep etc, he is a lot better.... I dont think he is that great up the middle...

Quick question. Who do you want toting the rock if it was your choice? Thomas or Ingram? This is a one word one name answer. No bullshite explanations or fillers.

You disagree? My definition of a "damn" moment and your are way off. For instance Chris Ivorys run against Atl was a damn moment and he has had plenty on half the carrys.
Ya know the moments you pause the game and run and get your mother who doesn't even watch football and she even says 'damn".
Ingram is far from that type of talent

drafting any RB in the 1st is a mistake.

RB was one of our biggest needs at the time. We had one year of Bush and we couldn't resign him because of his contract and we though PT would never play as a Saint again.
When Ingram fell to the bottom of the first round, it was considered a value at that point.

I'm not saying it was a great pick by any means and I wasn't thrilled about it at the time, but it wasn't a terrible pick either.

I remember wanting the Saints to draft Rashad Jennings in the second round that year. Ingram has at least turned out better than the guy I wanted them to pick. I feel bad for that guy. Drafted by Jacksonville and then signed by Oakland.

Anyone calling Ingram garbage should go offline for a while and contemplate their navel.

Thomas is gonna get his carries this year. A workhorse is coming(back) in 2013.

Ingram is holding a camp at Tuscaloser soon i think.

Perhaps he should cancel it and ask Pierre Thomas to have one instead. Perhaps he can learn something from PT about being in the pros

Can't disagree there. Maybe Ingram will bust his arse the next 2 seasons in order to get a big pay day (that's assuming he's got the talent to make big plays). If he does, that creates another problem: will we have the money to pay him?

Ingram was a result of being NFL strong playing with a badass line in college. I knew he wouldn't do much in the NFL. Live and learn. Moving on.

Which sucks because that's supposed to be his skill set. He can't catch, hardly any versatility. A runningback drafted in the 1st round should be able to step in right away and produce. Ingram would have a good value somewhere 4-6th rounds. Honestly though, we've had better UDFA's.

Strongly disagree. The coaches thought the same and that's. big reason he averaged so little for awhile there. They treated him like a goal like back and it was maddening. He's never been a straight up power back. He has strength, but he can do other things.
