Malcom Brown Contract Details

Malcom Brown signed a three year, $15 million contract with the Saints on March 19, 2019. $5.5 million of the contract is fully guaranteed at signing and another $2 million is guaranteed for injury. Brown received a $4.5 million signing bonus.
2019 cap # - 2.5 mil
2020 cap # - 6.0 mil
2021 cap # - 6.5 mil, dead money hit - 1.5 mil

He might be the most underrated signing of the period considering what he got paid. (Not that there is a lot to compare to..)
He is a really good run stopper. And that is what we needed losing Davison. And Brown is a better pass rusher. We got an upgrade to Davison. We just need to hope Rankins can come back HEALTHY at a decent point and our DL is good.
I still hope we get Quinn, but I doubt it.
