As usual, CSP 100X more candid with national media than the locals.

Said Peat is playing well. (He'll play at Guard). Said they knew he could play both spots when he was drafted. Said Strief isn't going anywhere.
Wants to improve on TOP, noted that Drew has been sacked 97x the previous 3 years compared to 63 the three before that. (More pass plays per game re: poor defensive play caused this 35 vs 43) Receivers have been impressive.
Looking to play some Big Nickel with the guys they have now.
His overall demeanor was much more open and candid than when I hear him w/ the locals.

Also spoke about the running game. Said that "when we were good" we had, on occasion, a Top Ten running game; wants to get back to that.
PK said last year, Saints gained an avg of 5YPC on first down. Obviously everybody playing the pass (two high safeties).
Takeaway is look for more running.
