Our only successful drive, minus the garbage time touchdown, had very little to do with winston. We ran the ball for the most part. GTFOH

And he could only get a field goal. Field goals don't win games touchdowns do

Y’all keep talking like Jamie’s is a rookie and will get better! He played 3 terrible quarters last week and 4 terrible quarters this week!! He is not good now and will not become good. He has 3 great receivers and the line protected him well!! No Excuses either bad quarterback play or bad play calling or both! Offense has to get better. Would not hurt to try Dalton to prove one way or the other!!

Oh cool I love this game....here let me play.

15:00 - 1st) (Shotgun) J.Winston pass short left to A.Prentice to NO 27 for 2 yards (D.White). FUMBLES (D.White), ball out of bounds at NO 27. Pass 3, YAC -1

(13:06 - 1st) J.Winston pass short right to T.Jones pushed ob at TB 46 for 7 yards (C.Davis). Pass 0, YAC 7

(12:24 - 1st) (Shotgun) J.Winston pass short right to M.Thomas to TB 33 for 13 yards (A.Winfield). Pass 10, YAC 3

(10:25 - 1st) 2-J.Winston at QB. J.Winston pass short right to M.Ingram to TB 17 for no gain (M.Edwards; D.White). Pass -7, YAC 7

(9:46 - 1st) (Shotgun) J.Winston pass short right to T.Jones ran ob at TB 12 for 5 yards (J.Tryon). Pass -2, YAC 7

Feel free to correct my math but here's how I've scored it...

Actual passing yards by Winston - 4
Yards after the catch - 23

Just a phenomenal drive by an elite quarterback.

That's the argument you have to make? Drew Brees went 13-3 doing that stuff. Whack

You sure you’re wanting to compare Winston to a 40 year old with a blown shoulder?

I'm merely referring to dink and dunk working for this team for seasons

You're merely ignoring the fact you're comparing Winston to a 40 year old QB with a blown shoulder.

...and that this board bitched an moaned for an entire season that we should bench Brees for Winston because that would give us the long ball and totally wouldn't end up in turnovers.

Your short memory is also forgetting that Brees was able to run a dink-and-dunk offense because he was able to make pre-snap reads and call audibles, hot-routes, blocking assignments. I've watched every snap for both games watching pre-snap very closely(I was told Winston has a high football IQ and want to see it for myself).

Winston can not read a defense. Even the announcers were laughing that the 3rd pick was on the exact same defensive scheme as the pick before it. He isn't able to read defenses and it doesn't look like he's learning from his mistakes.

Jameis is a good QB when he doesn't have a broken back which takes away one of his most valuable skillsets (running for first downs).

I think CDA and cuck Carmichael should have leaned more heavily on Tay Tay and the run game today.
