WWL's Kristian Garic spoke with Saints running back Chris Ivory today, asking him if he's frustrated watching from the sidelines as the team's rushing game struggles.

"Deep down, I would have to say, yes, I'm frustrated," Ivory told Garic. "It's a little frustrating to just kind of sit back. I just feel like my worth is more than that, than just, you know, sitting back on the side."

Ivory said he's trying to be patient.

"Well, that's out of my hands...but at this point, you know, in the season, I do feel that I should be on the field, you know," Ivory told me. "But I'm not playing, they're not putting me out there, so I guess I'm going have to continue to try to be patient to try to see, you know, how things go from here."

Garic asked Ivory if the Saints coaches told him why he's not getting playing time.

"No, I don't really get too much communication from them, they don't communicate with me. But, that's where I stand, just waiting and being patient. And I do understand the deadline of this trade is at the end of this month...we'll see what happens."

When asked if he would request a trade, Ivory replied, "No comment."

Ivory's not good enough to request a trade. he's a 3rd string running back...i do hope he gets to play soon though.

I'm gonna come out and say it.

As much as I love Ivory's contributions to this team...
I'm not sympathetic towards our 4th string RB not getting reps.

Depends if you think he should be our 3rd string and not the 4th. although it was interesting the Saints activated Cadet last week.

Now, I did not know that.

Ivory is there for when injuries occur.
I can't say it's a bad strategy.

It is kind of a bad strategy when Ivory can fall forward for more yards per carry than the 3rd string back

Only reason why he is fourth string is because Ingram was a first round pick and the Saints will do whatever it takes to try to force him to be successful. Ivory is definitely the better back though. Ingram would be good trade bait. We could surely get a 3rd-5th round pick for him.

Well my running back situation in one of my fantasy leagues is terrible. Maybe I should pick him up in anticipation of a trade to somewhere like Detroit or Arizona where he will start. Beat the waiver wire bull shite.

Ingram needs to be the one deactivated. A fire has to be lit under him or the Saints need to prepare to part ways. This is coming from one of the biggest Ingram apologists

This is the direction they need to go in this situation. But then again I'm no NFL gm

Y'all are a bunch of pickle smoking flute players if you think they'll trade away Payton's sons draft pick. Maybe if Loomis were back before the deadline you'd have a shot. Maybe.

That's 4th on the chart. I think that's the issue bro.
